How time flies...another year gone by~. And what an eventful one it's been. Hey Phoenix, are you still interested in visiting? As long as you're still okay with the trips between Sybak and Meltokio, then there shouldn't be a problem. Progress in Meltokio is slow, but it's happening. Seles and I have been staying in Sybak between helping to clean things up. I'm worried that she's going to overexert herself and get sick......I've had an odd craving for music lately. Unfortunately, I don't think my instruments survived the attack. I'll have to look into finding some more sometime soon. [Private] It's getting close to that time of year again... [/Private] ((OOC: Zelos house took some damage, thus why he and Seles aren't staying there.

It's finally begun~. The first law to work towards ending discrimination - half-elves found guilty of crimes are no longer automatically executed. That's not a lot, not yet. But you've got to crawl before you can walk, right? There's not a set system in place yet regarding sentencing. With how biased juries tend to be...for now, it's a case-by-case basis, using trials of humans to measure what appropriate punishments would be. Hopefully we'll be able to find a more reliable, constant means soon. The reactions have been...varied, although I suppose they could have been much worse. Seles isn't sure what to think about it yet. She's definitely glad to see the laws changing, but with some people's reactions and all that's gone on...it's hard to know what to think. But we'll just have to change that, won't we~? That aside...has there been any word on Yggdrasill, or what he's doing? And are we prepared should he attack? ((OOC: Okay, so here's what I ended up doing. New laws regarding half-elves just took effect. Word had been leaked earlier (particularly concerning Zelos' strong backing on the issue), and so some discriminatory assholes got together and attacked the Abbey where Seles is in retaliation. A couple of the nuns were injured, one killed...and then Seles came out from the Abbey to see what was going on. And fought the humans there with some pretty angry magic...not completely escaping unscathed. She took a beating, but managed to drive them off.
Zelos found out. Needless to say, he was PISSED. He's been down at the Abbey for a while, getting things back in order, and just recently returned to Meltokio, Seles in tow. :3 He's worried about her. D: She's recuperating right now, and kind of emotionally distraught as it is about the nuns being hurt. [Zelos has guards posted at the Abbey now for their safety.]

Heh, I guess I spent a little longer at the Abbey than I should have. The King made it sound like the next few weeks are going to be pretty busy. ♥ [Private]Being in Triet was...interesting. Efreet certainly does make his presence known there. Much better than the weather in Meltokio, I'd say~. [/Private]((OOC: Yes, I'm still on hiatus. Zelos is...tired. He was in Triet for a while due to snow in Meltokio, then went to the Abbey because Seles was sick. And now that he's back, he's got lots of work to look forward to! So um, plan on him continuing to be pretty busy. >_>;
